![]() ![]() driving in ditches) or use smoke grenades to hide yourself after you have been spotted. So it might not be as easy as in realistic mode but you can actually flank and remain undetected in arcade as long as you mind not making direct line of sight contact with enemies (e.g. You can remove being spotted with smoke grenades in arcade and as long as you keep your head down afterwards (remember NO DIRECT LINE OF SIGHT) you will actually not be spotted again until you peak out and start shooting. I don't know why everyone always claims that flanking is impossible in arcade. Feel free to disagree though.Įdit: Oh also one last point that I wanted to make but forget about. So yeah from my point of view I regard that as fair and perfectly fine. So as I said the main reason why there is markers all over the place for enemies that YOU do not see is because ONE OF YOUR TEAMMATES does see that enemy at the moment and simply relays that information to you even if you are playing solo. If you are driving around solo in a city map in arcade there might be an enemy 50 m behind a building that you can ALREADY HEAR but it will not be spotted for you until you actually drive around the corner and see him personally. If you ever played a city map where most of your allies were already knocked out or left the match then you will experience that even in arcade the spotting really only works if there is direct line of sight. The way that I see it if anything this levels the playing field for me as a solo player compared to players who queue up as a group because it simply gives me the same information that they have as a squad anyway. This is no different from a friend on discord telling me that there is a guy behind that building except that I don't have to team up with other guys to know what would otherwise be hidden information from me as a solo player. So in the situation that you are describing where a marker does not disappear it is most likely the case that SOMEONE ELSE still has sight over the enemy. The way spotting works from my experience is that either you yourself need to have DIRECT line of contact with an enemy OR a friendly teammate has DIRECT line of contact with the enemy. Judging from your initial phrasing I already know you are going to heavily disagree with me here but I mostly think it is just fine the way it is at the moment. ![]()
